Most people think their time has finally come, when they get palpitations. Relax.
Common Causes include:
Overeating, Stress and anxiety, Caffeine, Alcohol, Gluten (found in grains like wheat), certain medications, Food allergies, Hyperthyroidism/hormonal imbalance, Electromagnetic fields, too much cardio workouts, electrolyte imbalance (deficiency of Mg, K, Na, Ca).
If you get an episode, try this:
- Eat one meal a day between 3 pm and 8 pm. Ideally at 5 or 6 pm.
- Drink at least 3 litres of water per day with 1L being salted water, or bone soup.
- Eat plenty of green leafy vegetables, avocado, meat, eggs, animal fats and salt.
- Avoid grains like wheat, maize and rice.
- Lift weights in the gym at least 3X/week.
- Sleep as much as your body wants, plenty of sunshine exposure to manage stress.
- Avoid carbonated drinks and alcohol.

Seek medical attention if you experience:
Irregular heartbeats that feel too strong
Frequent or prolonged palpitations
Dizziness, fainting, or shortness of breath
Chest pain or discomfort
