Sometimes it’s extremely difficult to help certain Kenyans. Almost impossible.
You tell them FRUITS are unhealthy because of the high fructose content, the fatty liver they cause and the insulin resistance;
they tell you they saw on the internet and asked another doctor from Nairobi Hospital who confirmed that, fruits are healthy.
You tell them alcohol and energy drinks and wheat products are unhealthy,
they tell you consuming them in moderation and once in a blue moon is OK. Yet they are the ones who are sick!
You tell some Kenyans that nobody should lift weights every day: the body needs to recover.
They say they saw a gym plan in a certain gym with days from Monday to Sunday.
When you tell them drinking salted water is healthy,
you are told they eat salt in food, raw salt causes high blood pressure.
My role is to inform, not to convince you.
