Enforcing this would cause nationwide rebellion.

Christians & Muslims Pick and Choose
Why don’t Christians kill people for working on Sunday?
Why don’t Muslims enslave women openly?
Why don’t religious people stone adulterers?
Because these laws are insane, even by their own standards.
People only follow the “good” parts and quietly ignore the evil.
